We offer a range of training, tailored specifically to you and your dog. We offer assistance for specific behavioral help such as reactivity or separation anxiety. Additionally, our program can help with household manners such as jumping on guests, counter surfing, barking, etc. We also have a great puppy program designed to build a confident, well behaved furry friend! Private sessions can address foundational obedience, puppy training, leash walking, recall, reactivity, confidence, cooperative care, and other goals.

NO! It is never too late to start training! Dogs can learn at any age and I find that they really enjoy understanding what is being asked of them so learning can move quickly. If your dog has a long history of practicing unwanted behaviors, it may require more training to override their history.

During our session together, I will observe your dog’s behavior and your handling style. I will coach you through different training exercises to teach your dog the desired behavior. I use a mix of demonstrating while you observe and coaching you while you train, based on your individual preference and learning style.
After the session, you will receive a summary email including step by step training plans to guide you as you practice. I am available via phone or email between sessions to answer any questions or help virtually. I love receiving questions and updates!

Every dog is different! The more you practice, the faster your dog will learn. If you follow the guidance given to you and train every day, you should start to see changes immediately. The time it takes to switch from daily training to maintenance training varies by dog and what behavior we are working on.
